Pride Stores, GreenPrint launch Purpose program

To commemorate the launch of Purpose – a reduced emissions program – the Pride Stores and GreenPrint hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Charles. Mayor Ray Rogina spoke briefly alongside representatives from the Pride Stores and GreenPrint, which presented a commemorative check to The Arbor Day Foundation to kick off their partnership with Purpose. "For every gallon and grade of gas sold at the Pride Stores locations in Chicagoland, Purpose plants trees in local parks and neighborhoods and invests in certified carbon emissions reduction projects to neutralize emissions by up to 25 percent of tailpipe emissions," stated a news release.[]
