Election integrity in Illinois to be explored in all-day conference


WARRENVILLE – President Donald Trump warned of a rigged election in 2016, so the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project will address the issues at the Election Integrity Conference 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16. at IBEW Local 701 Union Hall, 28600 Bella Vista Parkway, Warrenville, the organization announced in a news release.

The conference is free and open to the public with featured speakers Mark Crispin Miller, Jonathan Simon and Robert Fitrakis, who are all noted election-integrity researchers, the release stated.

The conference will include a two-hour session on the overall vulnerability of election systems in the U.S., the release stated.

These presentations are intended to raise the consciousness of legislators, election administrators and the general public, the release stated.

All Illinois state legislators have been personally invited to attend, the release stated.

Effective solutions will then be proposed for Illinois, and the session will include an audience question-and-answer period, the release stated.
