Lay: Two dogs, a shih tzu-poodle named Beau and a blue heeler named Pepper

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Lay: Sally Field

Schory: First job?

Lay: At the Bob-Jo Speedway before it became the Sycamore Speedway

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Lay: I wanted to become an art teacher, but instead I’m an office manager.

Schory: Series you would recommend?

Lay: “Madam Secretary”

Lay: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
