BATAVIA – Brides-to-be can reduce the stress of wedding planning at the Batavia Park District’s third annual Bridal Showcase from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 24 at its historic Shannon Hall, located at 14 N. Van Buren St.

Brides and their bridal parties can enter to win raffle prizes, shoot photo booth pictures and speak to local vendors. The first 50 brides will receive a special gift from the district, according to a news release.

New this year will be the Something Borrowed Bridal Swap. Former brides can help out future brides by donating gently used wedding items between Feb. 17 and 23 at the Eastside Community Center. Budget savvy brides-to-be can browse items during the Saturday showcase and take home an assortment of free pieces, the release stated.

A variety of vendors including photographers, videographers, officiants, florists, caterers, bakers and others will be on hand to help brides plan their big day. A sampling of already announced participants includes Photography by Scott Pfeiffer, Bella Vista Travel, James Daley Photography, Wild Rose Florist, Rachel Watson Photography, Garland and Lace, TBM Productions, Time 2 Shine Soiree, Mosquito Joe, Gatherings by Design, Energized Entertainment, SLT Makeup and Cuomo Catering.
