Chamber Exchanger: St. Charles Restaurant Week to be held Feb. 26 to March 2

February is a short month but a great one; it’s the month where you start to count down to spring; love in the air midmonth and discounts at participating restaurants at the end of the month keep your spirits high to make it to March!

Mark your calendars for Feb. 26 through March 2 for the city of St. Charles Restaurant Week where you have the opportunity to get 20 percent off at more than 40 different restaurants in the St. Charles area.

This is a great opportunity to try somewhere new for date night, go to a longtime favorite or get out with friends while saving money and spending locally.

The St. Charles Chamber has many members who are participating including: Alexander’s Cafe 64, Brunch Cafe, Chili’s, Club Arcada, Colonial Cafe on Main Street, Colonial Cafe on Randall Road, Crazy Fox Bar and Grille, DRM European Cafe and Deli, Eden on the River, El Puente Restaurant, The Filling Station Pub and Grill, Francesca’s by the River, Harvest Restaurant at Pheasant Run, Isacco Kitchen, Jambalaya Restaurant at Pheasant Run, Main Street Pub, McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub, The Office Dining and Spirits, Pub 222, Rookies, ROX City Grill, Salsa Verde Mexican Restaurant, The Spotted Fox Ale House, St. Charles Place Steak House, Tap House Grill, The Finery and Blacksmith Bar, and Town House Cafe. Whatever you have a taste for, I am sure you can find a local place to dine!

The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce recently held the 96th annual Charlemagne Awards Dinner which was a wonderful celebration of business service to St. Charles. The chamber was pleased to announce the 2017 Charlemagne Award Winner is Clint Hull. His years of service to the St. Charles community have shown greatly and are appreciated!

The L.E.A.P. award was established to recognize leadership, excellence, achievement and professionalism. The Women’s Business Council recognized Diana McClow, as the winner for this award for 2017.

The Chairman’s Award was given to Tory Haines from Haines and Associates by 2016 Chairman Craig Larsen.
