The public is invited to bring their excess seeds, clean pots and garden supplies to swap with other garden enthusiasts, a news release stated. There will be a free exchange of seeds and a seed-starting station.
“Victory gardens brought communities together as part of the war efforts of World War I and II,” Museum Director Jennifer Putzier said in the release.
The cost is $5 and proceeds will benefit the 2018 victory garden exhibit and the Batavia Environmental Commission. The seed swap is sponsored by Menards.
