20 eateries participating in 'Dine on the $9s'
GENEVA – If you’ve never had a lobster quesadilla with Mexican corn and panella mushrooms, you might consider eating at 1910 Bar, 30 W. State St., Geneva, as it is one of 20 eateries participating in Geneva Restaurant Week from Jan. 21-29.
This is the fifth year Dine on the $9’s is hosted by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, which featureslunch and dinner menus for $9, $19, $29 or $39.
The 1910 Bar is offering lobster or brisket quesadillas with a variety of side dishes for $29, but add signature cocktails and the price for dinner goes to $39.
At Atwater’s in the Herrington, 15 S. River Lane, a $19 lunch is a three-course meal of roasted butternut squash bisque or salad, dover sole or wild mushroom tartlet and cherry and toasted pecan bread pudding or vanilla crème brûlée.
Gia Mia at 13 N. Third St., is also offering a three-course lunch or dinner for $19 starting with a choice of arancini mozzarella, shrimp scampi or burrata toast; soup or salad; and an entree of shrimp risotto, chicken Milanese or beef short ribs and polenta.
Preservation Bread & Wine at 513 S. Third St., is offering three-course lunch or dinners with dessert for $39. First course choices are a European cheese plate or Spanish carcuterie; crispy duck spinach salad or roasted sweet potato salad; shrimp and cheese grits, chicken pot pie or mushroom tart; and dessert is a chocolate espresso tart or brioche bread pudding.
Chianti’s, at 201 S. Third St., is offering any two lunch entrees, sandwiches or salads for $19.
Other participants are Altiro Latin Fusion, Cotto A Legna, Craft Urban, Del Barrio Mezcaleria, FoxFire, Geneva Ale House, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Sergio’s Cantina, Stockholm’s and The Walrus Room.

Tickets and passes aren’t necessary for the week of discounted dining. Diners can just show up at any participating location or call ahead to make a reservation.
