Batavia Park District to host "Daddy Daughter Date Night"

Event is one of the "throwback programs" this year to celebrate park district's 50th anniversary

Batavia Park District is hosting its popular "Daddy Daughter Date Night" on Feb. 1. The event is part of the park district's 50th anniversary celebration this year.

BATAVIA- Fathers and their daughters ages 3 and up are invited to celebrate the Batavia Park District's 50th anniversary with the popular "Daddy Daughter Date Night" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Rotolo Middle School, 1501 S. Raddant Rd. This event has been offered at the park district for 30 years, according to a news release.

This year's dance will have a special princess theme, and couples will enjoy entertainment, dessert, games, a photo booth and of course, plenty of dancing. The cost is $30 per couple and $15 for each additional daughter.

The park district has teamed up with Paragon Flowers to offer a pink or white corsage option when registering. The cost is just $15 and pick-up will be between 2 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St. For custom orders, please visit www.paragonflowers.com and the deadline to order is January 29.

A dinner option is available for an additional cost at Pal Joey’s beginning at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for kids 8 and under, $9 for kids ages 9-12 and $13 for adults. The meal includes pizza, salad and dessert as well as soft drinks, coffee, water and gratuity. Price is per person, and pre-registration is required.
