When Wendy Chapman was 9 years old, she went on her first flight and told her dad she wanted to be a pilot one day. “No, girls can’t fly,” he said.
Chapman was part of a panel of speakers invited to talk with students at St. Charles East High School about their careers in trades, transportation, distribution and manufacturing industry.
“If you have a dream, find a way to make it happen,” she told the students.
