6th Annual Foodie 5K

Run for fun, eat for FREE! Join the runners, walkers and their families at Foodie 5K in Wheaton and Libertyville.

Join us for the 6th Annual Foodie 5K!

We are switching things up this year with more food and fun than ever!
Join us for two stunning 5K races at our beautiful locations: Cantigny Park in Wheaton on April 27 and Independence Grove in Libertyville on June 1.

Enjoy scenic views on certified 5K courses through the parks, and then enjoy a fun, family friendly festival after the race. This year our fest area will be full of local chefs, restaurants and vendors offering FREE tastings of food and beverages. So come out and taste some of the great food Northern Illinois has to offer!

We will also have a fun and interactive Kid's Zone at each race, so be sure to register the whole family!

Last year, the Foodie 5K attracted nearly 2,500 participants and raised enough to provide the equivalent of $1.6 million in groceries to support the Food Bank’s mission to solving hunger across Northern Illinois.

All proceeds benefit Northern Illinois Food Bank, which provides food to hungry neighbors each week through a network of more than 800 community food pantries and feeding programs across its 13-county service area. Every $1 donated to the Food Bank helps provide $8 worth of groceries for those in need, and 97 percent of the Food Bank’s resources support programs that provide nutritious food to families and individuals in need.

Both Foodie 5Ks are chip-timed fun runs/walks open to all ages. All registered participants will receive a shirt, a $2 food truck voucher to be used at the post-race festival and more. Participants who register for both races will receive a special commemorative gift.

Registration for each race is $35 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12. Children ages 0-5 are free. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available at both race locations.

Visit www.SolveHungerToday.org/Foodie5K for updates on participating tasting partners, entertainment and activities for kids at both race locations.

There will be a pre-race day packet pickup on Friday, April 26 at Road Runner Sports in Naperville. So come on in, pick up your shirt and race bib, and receive 20% off any purchase made at Road Runner Sports while you are there!
