Ask lawyers free legal questions April 13

Volunteer attorneys to take free questions

The Kane County Bar Association’s monthly Ask A Lawyer day is April 13 where those seeking assistance should call 630-762-1900 between 9 a.m. and noon for a free consultation with a volunteer attorney, officials announced in a news release.

There is high call volume and often the phone lines are busy. Keep trying, do not leave a message, as volunteers are not able return voicemail.

Each month our attorney volunteers assist with a variety of legal questions including real estate, landlord/tenant, criminal, estates and wills, divorce, child custody, collections, bankruptcy and traffic.

The Kane County Bar Association is the oldest bar association in Illinois. It was established to maintain the honor and dignity of the profession of law, to facilitate and promote the administration of justice, to encourage continuing legal education, to assist in the delivery of legal services to the public and to cultivate social and professional interrelationships among its members.
