Geneva resident Ivette Bolender, 50, was at the Geneva Women’s Club bunco fundraiser at Eagle Brook Country Club when she answered questions from the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Schory: Where did you grow up?

Bolender: Puerto Rico

Schory: Do you have any pets?

Bolender: A Goldendoodle named Macie

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Bolender: Jennifer Aniston

Schory: First job?

Bolender: I was a sales rep for Kodak Film.

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Bolender: I wanted to be an architect, but I became a geologist.

Schory: Favorite charity?

Bolender: Hesed House and the core charities that the Geneva Women’s Club supports: CASA Kane County, Fox Valley Hands of Hope, Mutual Ground Inc., TriCity Family Services, Geneva District 304 and families and LivingWell Cancer Resource Center.

Schory: Favorite ice cream flavor?

Bolender: Orange sherbet

Schory: Favorite local restaurant?

Bolender: Preservation Bread & Wine in Geneva

Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Bolender: I won a dancing contest in Latin music in Dallas, Texas, during grad school.
