Davis: Burnsville, a suburb of Minneapolis in Minnesota

Davis: Bill Murray
Schory: First job?
Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Davis: A soldier and kind of landed where I wanted to be. I served on the Iron Curtain – the border between East and West Germany with the 11th Armored Calvary. I also served in the Persian Gulf. I was discharged from active duty in 1992 and now I am a regional sales manager for LG.
Schory: Book or movie you would recommend?
Davis: The Hieronymus Bosch series by Michael Connelly.
Schory: Favorite charity?
Davis: The Batavia VFW and the VFW National Home for Children
Schory: Favorite local restaurant?
Davis: Gillerson’s Grubbery in North Aurora
Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?
Davis: In English class when I was 14, they made us write a letter to our adult self and they mailed it 20 years later. I got the letter, “Hopefully by now, you’re driving around in a Mustang convertible, driving around having a good time.” Now I bought a Mustang convertible.
