Crimes reported in Batavia

• Robert V. Dowdell, 49, of the 700 block of Center Avenue, Batavia, was charged Sept. 18 with selling alcohol to a minor. The sale occurred at Crown Liquors, 135 First St., Batavia, reports stated.

• Yut Chung Wong, 61, of the 2100 block of S. Tan Court, Chicago, was charged Sept. 19, with selling alcohol to a minor. The sale occurred at East China Inn, 9 S. Randall Road Batavia, reports stated.

• Cheyanne Szabo, 21, of the 900 block of North New York Street, Elmhurst, was charged Sept. 20 with criminal damage to property, an apartment door in the 200 block of South Batavia Avenue.

• Cash in the amount of $1,000 and a wrist watch valued at $1,000 were reported stolen Sept 20 from a vehicle parked by Prairie Gymnastics, 1241 N. Raddant Road.

• Carrie N. Clark, 47, of the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, Batavia, was charged Sept. 25 with selling alcohol to a minor. The sale occurred at Shell, 108 N. Batavia Avenue, Batavia.

• Monica I. Bautista, 24, of the 200 block of Lincolnway Street, North Aurora, was charged Sept. 25 with selling alcohol to a minor. The sale occurred at Aldi, 451 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Emily J. Flowers, 27, of the 31W100 block of Hawthorne Lane, West Chicago, was charged Sept. 25 with selling alcohol to a minor. The sale occurred at Acquaviva, 35 N. Water Street, Batavia.

• A minor was charged Sept. 25 with underage possession of alcohol at the Batavia Skate Park, 411 S. River St., Batavia.

• Gregory W. Stoffel, 53, of the 400 block of Republic Road, Batavia, was charged Sept. 25 with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08%, disobeying a stop sign and illegal transportation of alcohol.
