"America’s Got Talent" season two winner Terry Fator will perform celebrity impressions, singing, comedy and ventriloquism in two shows Jan. 25 at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora.
Fator entertains with the help of his comic puppet pals: Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Maynard Thompkins the Elvis Impersonator and many others, a news release stated. Simon Cowell hailed Fator as one of the best entertainers in the world, and he’s become a staple on the Las Vegas strip.
In 2007, he got the chance to audition for "America’s Got Talent" and became the season two champion, taking home the $1 million prize and the title of "Best New Act in America."
"It was the big break I had worked for my entire life," Fator stated in the release.
Soon he began performing to sold-out crowds at the Las Vegas Hilton, and by the following year, he signed one of the largest entertainment deals in Las Vegas history to headline his own show, "Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment," at The Mirage Hotel & Casino.
During his 10 years as headliner, Fator has won the coveted awards of Las Vegas’s best show, best impressionist, best all-around performer, best family show and best overall show.
Fator can impersonate over 100 voices with fan favorites being Karen Carpenter, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Justin Timberlake, Roy Orbison, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Meghan Trainor and Bruno Mars.
